At Worthington Publishing, we want to maximize the value of Kickstarter for the backers who support our vision and make our games possible. To ensure our community receives the best possible experience and pricing, we are implementing the following core initiatives:
1. Guaranteed Lowest Pricing
Early Bird Tier: Backers who join within the first 48 to 96 hours receive our absolute lowest price, featuring an extra $3 to $10 discount off the standard Kickstarter price.
Standard Kickstarter Tier: After the Early Bird period ends, the standard campaign price will reflect a 20% to 40% discount off MSRP.
Late Pledge Tier: If you miss the live campaign, late pledges will typically be available at a 10% to 15% discount off MSRP.
12-Month Price Protection: The Kickstarter base price is guaranteed to be the lowest price offered directly by Worthington Publishing for at least 12 months after shipping begins. While we will ship the game to retail stores during this 12-month window, we cannot control third-party retail pricing or discounts.
2. Backer Shipping Priority
Backers Ship First: We do not ship to retail stores or sell stock on our own website until a substantial number of Kickstarter backers have safely received their copies.
