Description

A French wilderness empire stretches across vast tracks of the North American forest, along its rivers and the Great Lakes. It is growing, pushing further south and east. They have embraced and supported a Native American empire in the western wilderness. Both depend on each other for commerce and protection. Both are threatened by British expansion from the east. Both have aligned themselves together to stop it. Then a small skirmish on their frontier ignites a world war that engulfs them all and changes their empires forever…

About the Designer

It is designed by Bill Molyneaux and is the type of game we like to make.  He designed it to teach his son about a topic he has a passion for, the French and Indian War.  Bill reenacts at various forts, historical encampments and other events. He has deep knowledge of this time in our nation’s history and is a guest speaker at many historical sites.

Bill is a veteran gamer of both board and miniatures, lives in Gettysburg, PA and is a member of the Gettysburg Gamers. Because he is an avid board gamer, he knows how important easy rules and fast game play are to gamers.  He also wanted most of all to create a game that is fun to play. One that anyone could enjoy.  One that we could learn a little something on an interesting topic.   One that we could play with family and friends.

Game Components

The game is a point to point movement game. It has cards but is not necessarily card driven. The game features much historical educational material in the cards and how they affect game play. The game will be produced using the highest quality components. Hard mounted game board, durable coated cards with rounded corners and richly illustrated, large hard wood game pieces with colorful art and custom dice.  The art for the box cover and most cards were painted by famed historical artist Don Troiani.
